Hi There!
So, I read the Peace t-shirt one and was not surprised this happened in Florida- crazy state period. So sad for those earnest kids though and I'm wondering where the teachers were protecting their rights. Having been in the south for a while now, I have seen this ignorant stance on the Confederate flag- it is racism. A friend of mine said at a recent Tech game, someone had forged a Confederate flag out of VA Tech's colors- yeah, gotta love Blacksburg- she cannot wait to leave.
I look forward to reading the other articles you have listed- short on time now, but things will be easing up soon.

Yep, I've lived in the South too (and I'm not white) and cannot see the Confederate flag as anything else but a marker for racism.

At least, it is a useful symbol if only because it made it easy to spot those who were/are hostile...

Good grief. That peace shirt article is the most thoroughly repugnant story I've heard in quite a while.
